Inspector’s Responsibility

  • Utilize a device for the purpose of interfacing with the automated system during an inspection.
  • Input proof of the current public liability insurance referred to in Regulation 8 into the automated system.
  • Input the Global Positioning Satellite coordinates of the premises being inspected into the automated system.
  • Within forty-eight hours, input in accordance with Regulation 36(3), the results of the completed inspection into the automated system.
  • An inspector who completes an inspection and is not satisfied with the electrical work or the modification shall:
  • Notify the owner, in writing, with the reasons for the unsatisfactory findings; and
  • Input the results of the inspection into the automated system.
