A compliance certificate shall be valid for a period of:
fifteen years, in the case of a public place; and
twenty-five years, in any other case.
A new premises issued, with a compliance certificate shall become null and void if not energized within 12 months.
Provided that a premises that previously energized in accordance with section 37 of these regulations and has become de-energized for a period in excess of 12 months during the life of the certificate, the certificate becomes invalid.
