The applicant’s qualification – A certificate in electrical installation or electrical engineering from an institution approved by an accreditation body.
Role:
A technical electrical assistant works under the supervision of an electrician or an electrical inspector. He or she can work under the supervision of more than one of these persons at the same time.
The enrolment of a technical electrical assistant shall be valid for a period of five years, unless suspended, revoked or surrendered.
